Basic interview questions are here!

To any authors that would like to do an interview here, first off thank you.  Second please leave me a comment on this topic, with your e-mail, letting me know you would like an interview published and what work you would like to discuss.  I will get to it as soon as possible if I have not already read it.  Any gifted copies would be greatly appreciated since I have over 90 books to review at last count and that bill adds up quick.  I will be trying to post 1 interview every week on Saturdays.  If I have read your book I will send you some specific questions relating to it.  These are just beginning questions I will most likely edit this post at some point to include some more questions.

When did you decide to become a writer?

If you are not a full time writer what do you do to pay the bills?

What was your route to Indie authoring?

Any tips for your fellow Indie authors?

What served as your inspiration for (book title here)?

What other work do you have available?

What sites is your work available on?

Are you currently working on anything new and if so when can we expect to see it?

Are there any authors that you really look up to?

What do you see the biggest challenge in being an Indie author as?

Have you ever been published in any magazines or any national publication?

Do you have a homepage/blog/twitter/facebook etc... that fans can follow your progress or contact you at?

What is your favorite book/series?

Are there any specific sites that you visit for advice or inspiration?

I'd be interested in doing an interview, which would be my first one. My email is andrew@mistandshadows.com and I'd be like to do it for my novel, Tears of the Mountain (plus associated short stories if there is room.)

I should have a gifted copy floating around somewhere...

Keep up the good work. It's fascinating gaining an insight in all these novels. My own TBR list is growing.

Keep me posted! Man, that sounded cheesy. lol Let me know when you're ready!

  14. I'd like to do an interview. I just released my debut novel, Invisible Dawn, this month, so you probably haven't read it yet. It is the first book in the series. I'd be happy to send you a review copy. A second book, separate from the Altered Realities series, should be released in June of 2011. I am currently working on the sequel to Invisible Dawn. I can be reached at my website, http://www.authorwakincade.blogspot.com, or at wakincade (at) gmail.com.

  19. Hi Scott, saw your post on Goodreads. I'm mostly interested in getting a review, although I wouldn't be averse to an interview. I have five ebooks out. They're all very short. I have two collections of horror flash fiction, one of humor, one novella and one collection of humorous poetry. If you contact me at mcdonnellwrite@gmail.com I'll be happy to send you the code to download one or all of them for free. Thanks!
