Review for Night and Chaos

Night and Chaos (The Deva Chronicles #1)

Night and Chaos (The Deva Chronicles #1) begins in a bad place for Ryan. It is never fun to wake up being tortured by an ex-coworker and having no idea where you are. Amazingly enough Naomi manages to keep up that level of suspense and action throughout pretty much the entire story. The book follows Ryan as her past catches up to her rather unpleasantly with her ex-boyfriend, her father and mother at war, and a whole host of demon possessed coworkers.

Naomi seems to be a very talented author and I know I will be checking out what else she has available.

That was my Amazon review which really did not do the book justice, but I am always hesitant to go into to much plot on an Amazon review.  Suffice to say the book is well written and I am curious to learn more about the devas and asuras (spirits which are hosted by humans).

Naomi has also just released a new book Demonised last week.  Already she is hard at work on some new stuff.  Here is the preview of Demonised:

PI Ethan Banning is smoking too much, sleeping too little, and hearing voices. One voice, to be exact: the voice of the demon that possessed him on his last case. A voice that urges him to hurt, rape, kill, and Ethan doesn't think he has the strength to ignore it much longer.

When his latest missing person case turns into a murder investigation, Ethan finds himself fighting not just demonic urges, but black magic, an incubus with a hidden agenda, and a client who just won't pay up. Luckily, Ethan's got a few friends on his side, like Detective Anna Radcliffe, and his trusty dog, Mutt. If Ethan can ignore the demon long enough, he might just solve this case before it kills him.

Today I was awarded my first ever blog award by N. R. Williams.  So to her I would like to say thank you very much.  This award was started by Michelle at Beautiful Chaos stop on by to say hi.
