Escaping Destiny by Jeffrey Pierce review

Escaping Destiny (Tapestry)
5 stars
I have followed Jeffrey Pierce's blog for a few months now and gotten to know a little about his unique outlook on life. It is not difficult to see aspects of this outlook in the book. The characters have such a wonderful feel to them that by the end of the book you will feel like you actually know some of them. Each character has an innate strength of character, but they also all have their weaknesses.

Imagine living your entire life never leaving an acre of land. The only person you have ever met is your mentor who teaches you certain skills. One day your mentor stops showing up and you begin to want to test the boundaries you have always had. When you test those boundaries everything you know is turned upside down and you learn that you are one of 13 people prophesied to change the world. People either want to control you or if they can't do that they want you dead. This is life for the group of characters in Escaping Destiny.

If you enjoy being immersed in a rich story where you actually feel for the characters in a book pick up a copy of Escaping Destiny (Tapestry). You will not regret it.

Jeffrey has another project releasing later this month entitled The Awakening and he will be sharing all about it with a special guest blog.  Also in honor of his new release I will be posting my interview with him about Escaping Destiny.  Everyone should also take a minute to check out his blog it is an amazing place to learn more about him and his writing process.
