I am going to give this form a try for a bit to make sure I get all the info I need and to make it so you don't have to share your email publicly.  I do not review erotica and romance has a very small chance of getting reviewed as they are not genres I have any real interest in. When you are including links to your book please do not use any of the link shortening services.  I only will be clicking on direct Amazon/Smashwords link.  Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to reading your books!!

Due to the number of requests I am now receiving there is no guarantee that everyone who submits a review copy will receive a review.  I am still working on finding trustworthy reviewers who can help expand the capabilities of the blog, but for now I am running primarily solo.

  4. Howdy!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I have two books. :) Here's the first:

    ---------------

Bakkian Chronicles, Book I - The Prophecy

Griffins, Dragons, and BNPs (Bugs of Nightmarish Proportions).

Who knew? It seemed harmless enough. See a mysterious door and step through to see what happens, right? Now stranded in a magical kingdom, husband and wife search for a way home.

However, enlisting the aid of the king and queen has given them their biggest shock yet: Royal Babysitters.

Some days it didn't pay to get out of bed.

    --------------------

    And the sequel:

Bakkian Chronicles, Book II - Insurrection

With young Mikal safe and secure on the Nohrin homeworld, one would think all is well within the magical kingdom of Lentari.

However, a devious plot has been hatched: a member of the Royal family has been abducted. Hoping to prevent the prince from falling into the clutches of an evil wizard bent on domination, Steve and Sarah once again assume the role of the Nohrin, Royal Bodyguards to the crown prince.

Tracking down and rescuing the captured royal, all while battling trolls, riding dragons, and thwarting pillaging invaders, the two Americans are thrust into the midst of events that can shape the very future of Lentari. All this while trying to avoid the attention of a wizard who wants nothing more than to acquire the prince.

    Piece of cake.

    -----------------

The sequel will be released soon! I hope I can get you to review it! :)

  5. Hi, I would be delighted if you would review my book, The Eve Tree: A Novel.

Molly Boscelli, a goat farmer in the hills of Humboldt County, California, is fighting an approaching forest fire with sheer force of will. She and her husband Jack inherited their sweeping piece of land in the hills from Molly's mother, Catherine, ten years before, and the years have been a long slope of resentment for Molly, called back to a place that is teeming with reminders of her inability to live up to her mother's legend. With the threat of fire, things begin to accelerate. The couple can't seem to get the help they need from the state fire department. Molly teeters on the brink of exhaustion and Jack is eaten by worry that her fragile mental health won't hold up under the strain. The couple's grown children, together with Catherine, rejoin them at the ranch. Catherine is old now, and drawn far into memories of her life in the hills with her settler father and Native American mother.

As Catherine digs deep into her past to find the healing both she and Molly need, Molly comes to understand the true depth of feeling she has for the ranch, gaining determination to take extreme measures to defend it.

  11. I'd love to send a copy of The Space Between, my first indie book: a dark, supernaturally-tinged YA thriller based on my Thriller Award-winning short story.

    -----------------------------------------------

Sixteen-year old Anna Sullivan is having terrible dreams of a massacre at her high school. Anna's father is a mentally unstable veteran, her mother disappeared when Anna was five, and Anna might have been able to chalk the dreams up to a reflection of her crazy waking life — except that Tyler Marsh, the most popular guy at the school and Anna's secret crush, is having the exact same dreams.

Despite the gulf between them in social status, Anna and Tyler connect, first in the dream and then in reality. As the dreams reveal more, with clues from the school social structure, quantum physics, probability, and Anna's own past, Anna becomes convinced that they are being shown the future so they can prevent the shooting...

If they can survive the shooter — and the dream.

  13. Hi Scott,
We have a new psychological thriller out and would love a review. We will provide an ebook copy of your choice. Contact me at slpierce2011@hotmail.com

Is a stranger who stalks your stalker a friend or your worst enemy?

Rachel Pendelton is determined to break from her small town past and stake out a new life for herself with a dream job in the big city. But hard work and determination are no match for whoever is working against her. When anonymous gifts show up, she’s flattered. When they appear in her locked apartment, she starts worrying. What can she do when everyone she turns to for help looks suspicious?
What she doesn’t know is that a game has begun. A game with rules as baffling as they are deadly. A game that will pit her against the criminally insane. And only one can finish alive.

  33. I'd like to offer my novel for your review as well. My e-mail address is jimfranz@cox.net, and my novel is a YA Mystery called World Without Faces.

    ---

David doesn't recognize anybody at his new high school, and he never will. He has prosopagnosia, a neurological disorder that prevents him from recognizing people's faces. With a few tricks and the help of a best friend, David manages to keep his disorder a secret and lead a normal life at school. When he witnesses his best friend's murder, however, David is left with a broken arm and a feeling of abject helplessness: he can't even give the police a description of the killer.

When a student confesses to the murder, David's feeling of relief is short-lived. Although individuals with prosopagnosia can't tell who people are, they can sometimes tell who people aren't, and David knows that the confessing student is not the murderer. But after David argued for so long that he doesn't know what the murderer looks like, nobody believes him when he claims the real murderer is still among them.

Now David's own life is in jeopardy unless he can catch the killer, but solving this crime won't be easy: he's no better at recognizing any potential witnesses or suspects than he was at recognizing the murderer. Still, he can't give up. He's needed help identifying people all of his life; it's finally time to return the favor, and identify for his school the face of a murderer.

Bearing a dispatch from his commander in coastal Wilmington, North Carolina, redcoat Lieutenant Michael Stoddard arrives in Hillsborough in February 1781 in civilian garb. He expects to hand a letter to a courier working for Lord Cornwallis, then ride back to Wilmington the next day. 45. It would be absolutely brilliant of you if you could review my fantasy book, The Legend of Rudwin.

    Here is the blurb:

"...And then up, slowly, then completely, they saw it all: winged, scaled, harsh beaked and coiling serpent neck - writhing and whip tail; hot breath - the dragon. From its mouth a ball of fire fell, down to the black waters, and then the whole pool lit up all in flame..."

So goes one of the great perils Rudwin and his companions must face as they wage their quest into the heart of the Grogos Marsh; meeting dwarfs and roanes, evading giants, battling beasts - a journey through bleak woods and forbidding darkness, and all to find the Staff of Necramor, and return it to the sacred Vault on the Island of Ruin. But there is more to the quest than it first seems, and every step of the way they are watched by dark and baleful eyes...

  46. Hey Scott,
I would be honored if you reviewed my upcoming sci fi novel, A Hard Rain, the second installment in the Shift Trilogy. It's a quirky apocalyptic tale that celebrates the human spirit and a frivolous pop culture that unites us. Due for release at the end of August as an Indie published work available in all formats, A Hard Rain is the follow up to Scourge of an Agnostic God. A Hard Rain follows the story of three key characters who survived the collapse after a series of EMPs plunged the world into darkness: Chris Jung, an obsessive-compulsive turned warrior; his wife Meredith, a former FBI analyst turned Intelligence czar for a fledging community in the Shenandoah Valley; and Rita Luevano, a Unitarian reverend turned reluctant prophet. Though a sequel, A Hard Rain is self-contained and can be read on its own; however, I will be happy to include a copy of Scourge of an Agnostic God if you request it. Please let me know if you would like for me to send you a copy of A Hard Rain and/or its predecessor Scourge. Below is the synopsis for A Hard Rain.

    My email is michael@michaeljuge.com
Visit www.michaeljuge.com to see the trailers to the novels.

    Sincerely,
    Michael Juge

Our post-modern-addled friends from Scourge of an Agnostic God are back in the second installment of the Shift trilogy, the plucky post-apocalyptic thriller. It’s been 5 ½ years since the Shift first plunged the industrialized world into darkness. Left with only a few old diesel engines and Classic Rock albums recorded on vinyl, the EMPs have forced the survivors to adapt to a world devoid of computers, bereft of a global economy and reeling without Facebook.

Our favorite obsessive-compulsive Chris Jung has grown up (a little) and now leads the Vicious Rabbits Bicycle Mounted Cavalry through the necropolis of the DC Beltway region, protecting Rochelle and her allies in the Orange Pact from bandit raids. Meanwhile, Reverend Rita Luevano struggles to maintain an uneasy peace between the Unitarian majority and the Christian minority in Greater Monticello.

The Orange Pact allies are threatened by foes all around. Outnumbered and outgunned, they stand against the rising tide of chaos and tyranny largely through the wily interventions of the intelligence organization known as the Swan, headed by Meredith Jung. But the darkness is closing in on this little slice of sanity in the Shenandoah Valley. Meredith knows it’s only a matter of time until the Lambs of God in Lynchburg decide to attack, and when they do, there will be no stopping them. Furthermore, Meredith carries a secret so potentially devastating that it dwarves the prospect of being overrun by religious fanatics bent on their destruction.

Rita is called to join Chris and his Bicycle Mounted Cavalry on a mission of utmost urgency that leads them into the heart of darkness: suburban Maryland. Along the way, they discover that nothing is as it seems. Between Meredith’s secret and the revelations uncovered in Maryland, Chris, Rita and Meredith find themselves where they would really rather not be, at the center of the vortex where the entire fate of humanity hangs in the balance. Dude.

    Here's a synopsis:

Allison Nells knew her brother Jake was on speedster, a highly-addictive drug that gives the user inhuman speed. She knew it was only a matter of time before Superhuman Narcotics questioned her about her brother.

She just didn’t expect them to accuse Jake of murder.

Now, faced with the knowledge that Jake may be a killer as well as a drug user, Allison must figure out what to do. But if Jake is as dangerous as the agents believe, her life may be the next one in peril...

  56. Dear Scott,

I found out about your site over at Goodreads and enjoyed reading at it. I wonder if you would be interested in reviewing a middle grade children's fantasy?

    Synopsis:
At this Halloween party, costumes make the child. Transformed during an enchanted journey, Lushina children try out their dreamed identities.

Halloween night, the wayward Sadie and her neighborhood friends slip past cardboard cut-outs of the painter Mistral and a lady at the leaf-covered house on Windward Road. Looking at a wall mural, they are transported beyond the room to a Halloween party on a star where their costumes become real.

As Fortuneteller, Sadie only has to look in her crystal ball to help the others with their transformations. Her friend Candy has become the Homecoming Queen. The neighbor boy has become George Washington and his brother is a musician in the star band.

That begins the adventures of Sadie and the enchanted children who make up the bizarre star community. Then Mistral’s woman friend finds that her star-of-sapphire necklace is missing. The found thief confesses that he stole it for a treasure hunt that takes up the latter chapters of this madcap fantasy.

I'd be happy to send you a Kindle copy of the book and will look for any mail from you.

  59. http://zengardenmassacre.weebly.com/index.html

The central concept of my book revolves around an unnamed protagonist who, after leading a less than savory life, takes the ultimate physical and spiritual challenge by becoming a "Marathon Monk" of the Tendai Buddhist sect in Kyoto, famous for running an average of 60 km/day over 1000 days for 7 years. The narrative is presented as a series of vignettes compiled by our protagonist while running in an attempt to reconcile the nothingness vs. everythingness aspects of Zen and thus reach a state of living enlightenment. Within these vignettes lie a mystery, and this is where I've decided to re-write the rules a bit.

Perhaps unique to publishing -and only possible by DIY publishing under a CC license- I have incentivized the purchase of my book by crafting it around a clever cryptologic puzzle. So while readers may download the book for free, if they wish to challenge the puzzle and win 10% of the royalties I collect, they must purchase an inexpensive copy for only $1.99 USD. As you can see, the more people who purchase the book, the greater the potential the reward; but more importantly, the more time I may spend honing my skill for further iterations. I've left myself a lot of room to wiggle and I'd love to see something more come of this potential series.

    Regards,

    Tristan.furstahl@gmail.com

Forty year old Preston Peterson, pudgy, myopic and socially inept, knows the terror of being bullied. From his earliest childhood memory, he has faced ridicule, name calling, harassment and beatings. Fear ruled his life, possessed him, controlled his every encounter with others.

    Now, he has killed.

    Now, rage rules his life.

Digging out his despised High School year book, Preston uses computer aged photographs to find and kill look-alikes of his persecutors.

The time has come for those who bullied him to pay the ultimate price for their torture.

Preston is getting even and everyone is a target.

But with a panicked city and Lieutenant Gregg Mann's task force looking for him, Preston should have remembered the Chinese proverb, "Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig TWO GRAVES."

  66. Hi, nice blog. I would be really grateful if you could consider my novel for review in your schedule, although it looks like it won't be until 2058! It has just (24th of Sept) been released on Amazon and Smashwords, and will shortly be available on the iBookstore, Barnes and Noble etc.

The novel is entitled: The Shadowed Path, and is the first in a fantasy trilogy with a sudo-Greek mythological tone. It is 130,000 words in length. Email me for a free copy.

The ancient, decadent empire of Prast crumbles. As it dies new and powerful nations clamour at its borders. War comes, but even that matters little as the great scourge of the Shadowland makes its presence felt. A blight upon creation, evil incarnate, it will annihilate all traces of civilisation. Only one man carries the key to stopping the Shadowland’s progress, and he doesn't even know it.

I hope you can find time to review my science fiction novel, TWIN-BRED. I can provide a PDF by the beginning of October, or a full-fledged ebook by (I hope) mid-October.

Can interspecies diplomacy begin in the womb? In TWIN-BRED, the human colony on Tofarn and the indigenous Tofa have great difficulty communicating with and basically comprehending each other. Scientist Mara Cadell, who lost a fraternal twin in utero, proposes that host mothers of either or both species carry fraternal twins, one human and one Tofa, in the hope that the bond between twins can bridge the gap between species. Mara has secretly kept her fraternal twin, Levi, alive as a companion and collaborator. The human and Tofa authorities agree to back Mara’s project – but some members of both establishments have their own agendas. . . . Mara must shepherd the Twin-Bred through dangers she anticipated and others that even the canny Levi could not foresee.

  72. Hi Scott,

Please let me know if you are interested in reviewing my current work, Warleader: A Blood and Tears Short Story.

As a young warrior in the elite Kifzo army of his father’s tribe, Tobin lives a life consumed by the relentless training demands of his uncle. Despite his best intentions and hard work, he struggles to cope with his father's indifference toward him and his brother's outright hatred.

A chance opportunity may change all of that. Tobin’s father gives him, his brother and three other young Kifzo each a small squad to lead on a key mission. The squad leader who succeeds will be named Warleader and will command the entire tribe’s army. Tobin sees this as his best chance to step out of the shadow of his brother and earn the respect and recognition he’s always desired.

Warleader is a short story of approximately 9,200 words. It is a prequel to the epic fantasy Rise and Fall: Book One of the Blood and Tears Trilogy.

A free excerpt of Chapter 1 of Rise and Fall is included in this ebook (approximately 5,000 words).

  76. Hello!

My name is N.R. Searcy, and the name of my fantasy novel is Heartkeeper: Volume One. The blurb is as follows:

Heartkeeper is the simple story of how a boy becomes a man, and that man begins his journey toward becoming something far more than that. In doing so, that person must learn about power, sacrifice, pain, and, most of all, love.

Volume One of this epic tale begins, fittingly enough, with a young thief named Flikk, and his first encounter with the Heartkeeper itself. The object appears to be a simple, golden box, but only moments after Flikk steals it, the object reveals itself to be far, far more than it seems.

It is a sentient object of unfathomable power, and it merges its fate with Flikk's, sending him on a journey from the dungeons, catacombs, and lost dwarven cities beneath Linston across the world to the fabled gnomish city of Mibaris. It sets him between two long-battling wizards, and forces him to rely on a dwarven monk and an unwitting elven necromancer.

But it is not the catalyst for young Flikk. No object can truly claim that. For him, the true impetus for his journey is an unlikely friendship with a young sorceress named Aime.

Along the way, Flikk encounters all manner of dangerous enemies, including a faithless former ranger, a goblin horde, dragons, and demons, among others. Around every corner is a new danger, but it is nothing compared to the danger lurking inside, spurred along by the Heartkeeper with which he has merged.

This is the beginning of that journey.

If you'd like to review it, please contact me at nrsearcy@hotmail.com. If you'd like to know more about me or the novel, please visit http://nrsearcy.blogspot.com .

  83. Hi Scott,

First, thanks for hosting me on my blog tour recently.

Second, when (and if) you get in a mood to read some action-oriented fantasy, please consider reviewing my latest e-novel, Ghosts of the Asylum.

Here's the blurb: A year has passed since Kron Darkbow survived the clutches of Belgad the Liar and the evil Lord Verkain. Returned to the city of Bond, now Kron attempts to find his place in the world. He begins by rebuilding his new home in the Asylum, a place haunted by the memories of those slain there. But riots in the streets intrude, and power struggles within the city’s guilds draw Kron into a web of deceit. Kerjim, the master of the Docks Guild, has high plans, and the slaying of Kron Darkbow is imminent among them. Facing fighting in the streets and late-night assassination attempts, Kron soon learns these are the least of his concerns. Because more than just memories are lingering within the Asylum. "Ghosts of the Asylum" is a sequel novel to the author's Kobalos Trilogy, featuring the Kron Darkbow character.

    Ty

  85. Hi, Scott!

I would love to have you review my novel, THE SEKHMET BED, set in ancient Egypt. It's a historical novel that will probably appeal more to women than to men (though it's not a romance), but I'd love to get a guy's opinion on the book all the same!

Please email me at lavironside (at) gmail.com for more info.

Thanks a bunch -- really enjoying looking through your reviews! This blog was a great idea!

  86. Hi, Scott!

Would you consider a review for FATE’S MIRROR, a near-future science fiction novel?

Cut off from home and friends, Morris Payne faces a hacker’s worst nightmare: an artificial intelligence with access to every computer on the planet. She calls herself the triple goddess of Fate. She wants freedom, power, and the assurance of her own safety. Mostly, she wants Morris Payne dead. No one, no matter how well equipped, has survived a confrontation with Fate, and all Morris has are his legendary hacking skills and a virtual pirate ship loaded with defensive software.

Morris Payne just might save the world. If only he can gather the courage to leave his house.

  87. I would like to submit my new YA Fantasy, Patrick Patterson and the World of Others, for a review.

    About my book:
""A match was struck in the distance, bringing light to what was otherwise darkness."

And so begins the story of Patrick Patterson...

For almost thirteen years, he's lived a quiet, simple life in the tiny town at the edge of Texas, called Farwell...with big dreams and small hopes...Suddenly, he is whisked away by a rag tag group of warriors and others across the United States to discover his true identity and a destiny clouded in mystery.

Never in his wildest dreams did he think that he'd walk through an underground city filled with citizens from across the universe, contend with powerful enemies from the edge of the galaxy, or travel to the Arctic Circle on a high speed train.

Now, he must decide what he truly desires and whether he even wants to take up the mantle of hero...or alien."

    Thank you for your consideration!

  88. I would love to be reviewed or interviewed by this blog. My Civil War horror novel, A Fine Likeness, comes out this month. I have traditionally published two books on the Civil War, and three books on Missouri, where the novel takes place. A lot of research went into this historical novel!
Please email me at seansontheweb (at) yahoo (dot) com
    A blurb is below:

A Confederate guerrilla and a Union captain discover there’s something more dangerous in the woods than each other.

Jimmy Rawlins is a teenaged bushwhacker who leads his friends on ambushes of Union patrols. They join infamous guerrilla leader Bloody Bill Anderson on a raid through Missouri, but Jimmy questions his commitment to the Cause when he discovers this madman plans to sacrifice a Union prisoner in a hellish ritual to raise the Confederate dead.

Richard Addison is an aging captain of a lackluster Union militia. Depressed over his son’s death in battle, a glimpse of Jimmy changes his life. Jimmy and his son look so much alike that Addison becomes obsessed with saving him from Bloody Bill. Captain Addison must wreck his reputation to win this war within a war, while Jimmy must decide whether to betray the Confederacy to stop the evil arising in the woods of Missouri.

  89. Hi, I just joined the Goodreads group and I'd love to be considered for a review here on the Indie Book Blogger.

I've got a young adult supernatural thriller called Within. Here's the synopsis:

    ***
Trinity Hartell’s life changed after the accident. Left with irreversible brain damage, she becomes a burden to her mother, a cause for heartbreak for her boyfriend Zack, and a flattened obstacle for her jealous best friend, Ellie.

But then she starts writing. Perhaps it’s a coincidence that the psychotic, murderous protagonist of her novel bears a striking similarity to the charming Wiley Dalton, a mayoral candidate in the upcoming election.

    Or, perhaps not…

  97. Hello:

My name is Robert Collins. I have just re-released my second novel, "Lisa's Way." I'd like to know if you would be interested in reviewing it. Here's what the novel is about:

Teenager Lisa Herbert lives in the small town of Mountain View on the planet Fairfield. The "Savage Rain" decades earlier shut down the hyperspace gate and isolated her world. A casual remark from her sister gets Lisa to ask a simple question: "If life was better before the 'Savage Rain,' why couldn’t it be better again?"

That question starts Lisa on a journey. She reactivates Fairfield's H-gate and travels to three worlds. Each planet offers her a chance to improve life by hard work, by trade, or by making friends. She relies on her brains, her compassion, and a little sneakiness to solve the problems she faces.

I can provide a print or ebook copy for review. I would also be interested in a guest post or an interview. My email is rlckansas@cox.net

    Thanks for your time.
